Imperial War Museum Typography (GrC)

The Imperial War Museum is home to an impressive WW1 exhibit with beautiful visuals. Some of the most visually engaging pieces are the propaganda posters. The majority of the posters created during WW1 had contrasting font sizes placing emphasis on the most important part of the message, usually a call to action.  Additionally, there were quotes placed throughout the exhibit that also enhanced the exhibit experience. The quotes were easy to read due to their contrast in both color and font size. All of the quotes were written in the same format, making them easy to identify and highlighting the power of repetition.
